From Woman to Woman
Heather Brown

Haikus make great starts
to otherwise random thoughts.
Like kissing women
in dark machine rooms,
backlit by whirring patterns
of the human brain.

Sometimes I worry
for you and I, my lover.
They don’t know the pain
of finding hidden,
secret spots to kiss you in.
So I’m frustrated
by their ignorance!
Sometimes it doesn’t make sense.
I guess, neither love?
