Spyglass
Kevin Sadoski

I shook my kaleidoscope one more time to see.

I’m a spy with a clandestine mind and eyes of discrepancy.

I keep one eye open to see the sun in shapes and colors

All around,

Another is closed for dreaming, and the third discovers the wonders

Sustaining my sound.

I may be wearing black and gray

But, my life’s in technicolor.

Viewing the world in a different way,

I'm a spyglass for a lover.
